Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki: “[Late Hamas Political Bureau Chairman] Ismail Haniyeh is the most prominent Palestinian leader in this period, who represents the direct confrontation against Israel and the US… Since yesterday, Israel is underground. They are afraid of a response [to Haniyeh’s assassination] and their airports are filled with people who want to flee in fear to Eilat and elsewhere.”
