Abbas’ advisor: US soldiers “invade” region to defend “the Zionist colonialist project” for “American interests”
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “What are the American soldiers doing in this region? Is this their land? Are they guests in the region? Of course not. They are invaders. They are occupiers. They are raiding this region. They are attempting or taking action to defend the Zionist colonialist project. Israel is a colonialist American interest. The idea of Israel originally is an idea that was invented and born in the Western mind, in the colonialist Western mind, and not in the Jewish mind. Colonialism is what invented this idea for colonialist goals, and these colonialist goals still exist. They want the Arab and Islamic region to remain divided, backward, and conflicted.”
