Palestinian libel: Israel “falsifies history, claiming land belongs to the Jews”

Official PA TV, report from Tubas on Israeli excavations at an archaeological site in the Jordan Valley, which are being conducted due to the laying of water lines and infrastructure in the area

Head of the Al-Maleh Council Mahdi Daraghmeh: "The occupation (i.e., Israel) is attempting to steal these artifacts that are Palestinian gravestones that has been in this area for hundreds of years. They were created by our ancestors in this area hundreds of years ago, but the occupation is attempting to steal the gravestones... to turn them into Biblical artifacts to falsify the history and claim that this land belongs to the Jews."
