PA Supreme Shari’ah Judge promotes “slogan”

PA Shari'ah Judge Abdallah Harb: "For more than 75 years we have been suffering from the occupation (i.e., Israel) ... The occupation is the historical oppression of our people, and every event after the occupation is a response to this occupation…  At the start of the occupation, Palestinian poet Abd Al-Rahim Mahmoud phrased the slogan of our people: 'I shall carry my soul in my palm and toss it into the abyss of destruction. And then either a life that will gladden friends, or a death that will enrage the enemies. And the soul of the noble one has two purposes: Reaching death and achieving the wishes.' This is the Palestinian situation. He carries his soul in his palm and tosses it into the abyss of destruction to defend this sacred land."
