PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "We must remember that at the start of the [Israeli] aggression (i.e., the 2023 Gaza war), the international position was relatively biased – and primarily the Western position – in favor of Israel because the false Israeli narrative deceived the Western states, the Western peoples, and even the global public opinion."
