Fatah uses Arafat’s conspiracy theory as proof of alleged Israeli plan to ‎expand into Arab world

Former PLO and PA Chairman Yasser Arafat: "This is an [Israeli] 10 agorot coin with a map of Israel on itGreater Israel that includes Lebanon, all of Palestine, all of Jordan, half of Syria, a third of Saudi Arabia, two-thirds of Iraq, and half of the Sinai Peninsula."

Posted text: "A past interview with [former PLO Chairman and PA President] Martyr Yasser Arafat, in which he exposes the occupation's plans to establish its alleged ‘state,' and what are its borders?"

At a session of the UN Security Council in 1990, Arafat claimed that the Israeli 10 agorot coin carries a map of "Greater Israel" that represents Israel's plan for expansion into surrounding Arab states.
But the Israeli coin design does not include a map. The shape is a replica of a coin issued by the last Jewish Hasmonean king of Judea, Mattathias Antigonus, in the 1st century BCE.
