Abbas’ advisor whitewashes Oct. 7 terrorists and murderers as “freedom-seekers”
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "Before Oct. 7 [2023] (i.e., Hamas' massacre), there were 6,000 prisoners. After Oct. 7 and until today in addition to these 6,000 another 3,300 were arrested, and there are approximately 1,000 perhaps from the Gaza Strip (i.e., terrorists) ... These prisoners are not terrorists or criminals, but rather those seeking freedom."
