Fatah official libels US and Israel: Floating port in Gaza is excuse to steal gas
Fatah Revolutionary Council member Kifah Harb: "Regarding the floating port, there was a plan to strengthen the American presence in this area in cooperation with the Israeli occupation state in order to take control not only of the land here, but also for several reasons, including expelling the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip… The second issue is the resource located in the sea of Gaza. There is a resource called gas that was discovered to be one of the largest gas sites, and there is an attempt to exploit this gas and prevent the Palestinian people from its right to this important natural resource."

The floating port was built by the US to facilitate humanitarian aid to Gaza during the 2023 Gaza war.
