Abbas’ advisor tells Gazan civilians to stay at home as human shields, despite Israeli warnings to leave combat zone
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "They [Israel] want to push us to abandon our land, to leave our communities (i.e., Israeli warnings to evacuate combat zone during 2023 Gaza war)… Their senior [leader], criminal [Prime Minister] Netanyahu, said that the people of the Gaza Strip need to leave to the south... We say to him and to the world: We are staying here. We will not leave our land under any circumstances. Either we will live in it as respected people, or we will be buried in its land as Martyrs."
