Fatah officials libel Israel as the one starting all wars, including Hamas-initiated 2023 Gaza war
Fatah Secretary in Holland Zaid Tyam: "We did not attack anyone (sic., Hamas initiated the 2023 Gaza war). They [Israel] are attacking us, and they are harassing our people…"
Senior Fatah official Jihad Ramadan: "The doctrine of the Zionist movement is a doctrine of replacement based on occupying the land and emptying it of its [Arab] residents and original owners for the benefit of a foreign colonialist project, which is expressed by the Zionist movement… Not 15 years or so go by without the occupation state breaking out into a lethal war against the Arab people, against the Palestinian people. This is what we witnessed in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, 1982, 2000, and what is happening now in the war of annihilation that has been continuing for nearly an entire year."
