Hamas spokesman admits Hamas kept Israeli hostages in Al-Shifa hospital
Hamas Spokesman Osama Hamdan: "Regarding the occupation (i.e., Israel) leaders' claims about the presence of signs indicating that captives (i.e., Israeli hostages) were in the Al-Shifa Hospital, the [Izz A-Din] Al-Qassam Brigades (i.e., Hamas' military wing) have announced that they transferred many of the wounded captives in their possession to the hospitals for treatment after a number of them were wounded as a result of the Zionist bombings. Our Jihad fighters endangered their personal security to provide treatment to these wounded prisoners. The images that the Al-Qassam Brigades have disseminated confirm this."

Security camera footage recovered from the Al-Shifa hospital proves Hamas terrorists took Israeli hostages directly to the hospital on the morning of the invasion and massacre on Oct. 7, 2023, before Israeli airstrikes commenced in response. They passed several other hospitals on the way there, debunking the claim their concerns were purely medical. The reason terrorists brought hostages to Al-Shifa was because they knew it would give them cover and access to the extensive tunnel system underneath.
