Mother and wife are "very proud" of terrorist "hero"
Official PA TV program A Link in the Chain shows poster with symbols of Fatah and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades:
“’Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade
Martyr (Shahid) Imad Mughniyeh squad
Fatah’s Military Wing
Warmly blesses the prisoner’s family: Alaa Salah’”
Mother of prisoner Alaa Ahmad Abd Al-Mun'im Salah: “I consider Alaa a hero from among the heroes of Palestine, regardless of whether he was a prisoner or a Martyr, because we have achieved Martyrdom (Shahada) in the past. That is, his brother achieved Martyrdom in the past [during the Intifada] (i.e., the first Palestinian wave of violence against Israel, 1988-1993), and his uncles also, in the past, in the days of ’67. This is not a new thing for us. And, Praise be to Allah, I am very proud of him, because Alaa is still patient and resolute.”
Wife of prisoner Alaa Ahmad Abd Al-Mun'im Salah: “Alaa, Praise be to Allah, Master of the universe – his arrest is an honor for us. Praise be to Allah, Master of the universe, it is an honor for me that he is a prisoner, and if he were a Martyr, Praise be to Allah, that [would be] a huge honor… The verdict is life imprisonment. Why? Because he is from Palestine, because he is Palestinian. And the charge? They charged him with false [charges]. I swear that Alaa is a hero, and, Praise be to Allah, Master of the universe, it is an honor for me – whether he is a prisoner or a Martyr. Praise be to Allah, Master of the universe, who honored us with this fate.”

Note: Alaa Ahmad Abd Al-Mun'im Salah is serving one life sentence for participating in the murder of Israeli citizen Yossi Zandani (March 30, 1994). Salah was arrested in 2004 after having been recruited to murder an Israeli citizen whose body was to be used for bargaining purposes.
Imad Mughniyeh - senior member of Hezbollah who was linked to major international terror attacks, including but not limited to: the 1983 bombing of the US embassy in Beirut (63 killed), the 1983 bombing of the US army barracks in Beirut (241 killed), the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847 (1 killed), the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires (29 killed), and the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudia Arabia (19 Americans killed). He was also linked to the Karine-A affair, a failed attempt to smuggle 50 tons of illegal weapons to the Palestinian Authority in 2002, and to numerous attacks along the Israel-Lebanon border. He was killed in a car bombing in 2008.
