International law consultant: Consensus abroad that PA curricula is antisemitic and what led to Oct. 7 – they threaten Palestinian identity

Consultant on international law and youth issues Dr. Bader Zamaarah: "There is a demand to change the [PA] curricula [claiming] that our curricula increase hatred – our curricula here in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and that what led us to Oct. 7, [2023] (i.e., Hamas' massacre) are the curricula that incite and use a collection of sentences like this or that. This is part of an entire project to change the identity and destroy all the components of what is considered Palestinian. Even the map, there is an attempt to present a different map than the map of Palestine we grew up on, which from the west is the Mediterranean Sea, and from the east is Jordan. In people's imagination, what [is] in the curricula, all of this leads to Antisemitism, all of this leads to creating a generation of Palestinians who increase hatred. These are sentences I hear a lot. Unfortunately, many states are now repeating them."
