Palestinian author Al-Mutawakkil Taha: "The confrontation with the occupation (i.e., Israel) has not ended. I think it won't end until we will be alone on this land. Either we will be on this land, or we will be on it. The land is not wide enough for us and for them. They are newcomers. They came here based on claims, lies, and propaganda… They must understand that this land is not theirs. To be a Latin [-speaking] (i.e., Western) kingdom in the heart of the Arab world and steal its future is impossible. Crusades might succeed for 10, 20, 100 years. An occupation can succeed for - The longest occupation lasted for 130 years in Algiers. And afterwards?"
