Fatah official misrepresents Israeli cities Haifa, Jaffa, Acre, Lod, and Ramle as part of the Palestinian “homeland”

Fatah Tubas Branch Secretary Mahmoud Sawafta: "I ask for mercy for the Martyrs of our people who died as Martyrs for us, for the freedom of our people and for our homeland. [They] died as Martyrs for this precious homeland in order to paint the map of the precious homeland, the map of Haifa, Jaffa, Acre, Lod, and Ramle (i.e., all Israeli cities)."

Sawafta made this statement at the funeral of PA Security Forces member Martyr Capt. Hassan Abdallah who was killed during clashes between PA Security Forces members and armed Palestinian groups – an incident in December 2024 that was unrelated to Israel.
