PLO brags of submitting “thousands of documents” to the ICC that led to arrest warrants of Israeli leaders
Head of PLO Department of Human Rights Qassem Awad: "We are currently discussing the issuance of two arrest warrants, which came following a tremendous effort in the leadership of the official Palestinian diplomacy and popular diplomacy, against war criminals [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu and [former Israeli Minister of Defense] Gallant. Today there is an expansion of the application of these warrants so they will include 18 from the first line of the occupation's (i.e., Israel's) leaders and General Staff, including [Israeli Army] Chief of Staff [Herzi Halevi], [Israeli] Air Force Commander [Tomer Bar], and new occupation government Minister of War [Israel Katz]. All this is a result of tens of thousands of documents submitted by the Palestinian side, by the official and popular Palestinian diplomacy to [International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor] Mr. Karim Khan recently and to [former ICC Chief Prosecutor] Mrs. Fatou Bensouda."
