Fatah official: Price in Gaza war was too high, should have liberated “Al-Aqsa Mosque and all Arab areas occupied by Israel”
Tulkarem District GovernorAbdallah Kmeil: "Whether the side that carried out the criminal offensive on the Palestinian people (i.e., Israel) or Hamas claims victory, thePalestinian people paid the high and great price: The blood that was spilled like rivers in the Gaza Strip. It could have helped to liberate not only the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but to liberate all the Arab areas occupied by Israel. The price we paid as Palestinians is huge. It's not a price that [should] release only 2,000 prisoners (i.e., terrorists), nor 4,000, but rather a price that [should] liberate all the prisoners in the world. The Palestinian people paid a heavy price, and the result: Over 60,000 Palestinians died as Martyrs… the infrastructure is destroyed in the Gaza Strip. There is no school left in Gaza and no university... What remains of the Gaza Strip is ruins."
