America “planted” Israel to serve “economic and strategic interests” in the region

Palestinian commentator in Cairo Shafiq Al-Talouli: "The American state is only interested in the language of interests. It only cares about its own interests in the region. While it is true that it – together with the West – planted this entity [Israel] to serve its economic and strategic interests, if [the US] thinks that its interests will be harmed, it will adopt a different policy, but all of this is on condition that the occupation (i.e., Israel) will not come to an end."
