Abbas’ advisor: Israel is responsible for all disasters in the region
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "The reason for all the disasters that are plaguing the region and the Palestinian people is the existence of the occupation (i.e., Israel). Some blame Hamas for having dragged the region into the state it is in on Oct. 7, [2023] (i.e., Hamas' launch of terror war)…One cannot ignore the role of the occupation and how the occupation is a central and pivotal cause of all the disasters experienced by this region."
