Abbas’ advisor guarantees terrorists will continue to be paid
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "[PA President Abbas'] decree or bill (i.e., Abbas' revision of "Pay-for-Slay") is an arrangement of the social assistance payment process under one umbrella and one criterion that includes all those who receive social assistance. It's a process of arrangement and legislation so that everyone will be able to receive [payments] based on a unified, just, and transparent criterion that includes all the sectors that receive social assistance, whether they are the families of the Martyrs, the prisoners, and the wounded (i.e., terrorists), social cases, and the like. All these sectors that were already receiving [payments] in the past, but through different headings and institutions, will now continue to receive, but through one channel which is the Social Security Institution and the Palestinian [National] Economic Empowerment Institution (PNEEI)."
