The Palestinian myth that “Mary was a Palestinian” turns Jewish Jesus into a Palestinian

Official PA TV host: "The Palestinian woman [Jochebed] vowed to God that she would give [her child] in her belly to serve in the Temple… She was disappointed when she had a daughter [Mary], because men [not women] serve in the Temple… and [still] her mother took her [Mary] to the Temple to fulfill her vow... She [Mary] was the first Palestinian woman from Jerusalem to whom a revelation descended and God chose her as He chose the prophets… Mary spoke directly with Allah: My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me? He said to her: Allah can create whatever He wills."
