Fatah official warns of “Israeli campaigns” to erase Jerusalem’s “identity and landmarks”
"The Association of Released Prisoners, the Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs, and the Prisoners' Club held a ceremony last night in Bethlehem honoring the veteran prisoners from the Jerusalem and Bethlehem districts. [Bethlehem district governor, Abd Al-Fatah] Hamail emphasized that Jerusalem is an occupied city and is the historical, religious, political, spiritual, economical and moral capital of Palestine, and ultimately it will be the capital of the State of Palestine… [Member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, Dimitri] Diliani said that the city of Jerusalem, which is subject to organized Israeli campaigns aimed at erasing its identity and landmarks, will be the capital of the Palestinian state."
