Palestinian Authority pays grants to terrorists from the PA’s General Intelligence Forces
Yesterday, the Palestinian Authority announced that grants were again given to the families of terrorists, specifically to "Martyrs and prisoners" of the PA Security Forces of the Jenin district. This comes despite PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' highly publicized proclamation that the PA would be ending its terror rewards program known as Pay-for-Slay.

"Yesterday [March 25, 2025,] the [PA] General Intelligence Forces in the Jenin district gave grants to families of Martyrs and prisoners from among the forces' members in the district.
A delegation of the forces gave the grant to 28 families of Martyrs and 10 families of prisoners who belong to the General Intelligence.
Director of the Forces in the Jenin District Col. Adnan Abu Aisheh said that the message of the forces – on the orders of the director of the [General Intelligence] Forces, Maj. Gen. Majed Faraj, and based on what [PA] President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas has emphasized again and again – is that if we are left with one penny, it will be paid to the families of the Martyrs and the prisoners."

Palestinian Media Watch has documented that the payments by the PA have continued in the months since Abbas' statement, which was likely made under pressure from the Trump administration.
A month ago, Mahmoud Abbas asked the Palestinian public to "trust us" in his efforts to establish "a comprehensive protection and welfare system" that would ensure that the "Martyrs, prisoners, and wounded" who are "more precious than all of us" would "receive everything, as it was in the past."
At the beginning of March, PMW reported that PA employees' salaries included monthly "allowances" for the "Martyrs, wounded, and prisoners."
The Palestinian Authority indeed brags quite openly that in spite of the changes to the payment system, it will continue to reward the families of the terrorists.
