     Hamid: "I see Israeli society as rotten from the inside. Carpenters or wood craftsmen would say it's worm-infested wood. For 60 years, they’ve been looking for pottery, glass, for a brick or a handful of sand that would put back something resembling history to them, but they haven’t found it."
