Released prisoner reveals Hamas plan to blow up the airport, Israeli Parliament
"Released 'Qassam' (i.e., belonging to Hamas) prisoner Ahmed Akram Al-Salami has revealed a plan, prepared by the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Martyrs' Brigades, to blow up sensitive targets inside Israel, in the wake of the successful transfer of the project for producing Qassam rockets to the West Bank, at the beginning of the second Intifada (i.e., the PA terror campaign, 2000-2005). Al-Salami said [this] in a special statement to the 'Al-Qassam' website, following his recent release from the occupation's prisons, having served a prison sentence that lasted nine years. [Al-Salami] arrived in the Khan Yunis district, where his relatives live, [and said]: 'The main targets which [Hamas] planned, as targets for the rockets produced by Hamas in the West Bank, are the Israeli Parliament Knesset in Jerusalem; the Ben-Gurion airport in Lod; and settlements, foremost among them Beit El.'"
