PA Ministry: The Cave of the Patriarchs is Palestinian and "the Jews have no right to interfere in its affairs"

"The Ministry of Religious Affairs said yesterday that the Israeli occupation authorities had prevented sounding the call to prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., the Cave of the Patriarchs) 50 times during last July. Director of Islamic Trusts in Hebron, Zaid Al-Jabari… said: 'The Ibrahimi Mosque (Cave of the Patriarchs) is a purely Palestinian Islamic issue, and the Jews have no right to interfere in its affairs, in its corridors and in its plazas."
