"Allah's messenger [Muhammad] taught us that Jihad, with its conditions, its rules and its true motivations, is the pinnacle of worship of Allah, and therefore Muhammad's contemporaries strongly encouraged Jihad, resolve, sacrifice, and Martyrdom, as it says in the Hadith: 'The Jihad warrior is likened to one who unceasingly fasts and stands in prayer, not ceasing his prayer and his fast until the Jihad warrior returns.'"
