PA daily article condemns honor killings
Headline: "Who is defending murderers of women?"
"Ninety year-old Khadra Mar’i of Bani Na'im in the Hebron district; the girl W.M.Q. (19) of the Al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza; Amal Yusuf Akhras (18) of Tulkarem; Nancy Mahmoud Al-Zaboun (19) of Bethlehem, and Randa Khalil Mahariq (34) of Al-Samo'a. Five women who were murdered in the most despicable ways, most of them humiliating and cruel, by first-degree relatives. The most infuriating incident in which the greatest injustice was done, is the case of W.M.Q., whose name has been withheld in order to protect the victim's 'dignity', thereby denying her the most fundamental right of the deceased, to let the public know her real name."
