Al-Aqsa Institute says Torah readings at the Western Wall is "Judaization"
Headline: "With direct funding from the Israeli Prime Minister – Al-Aqsa Institute: The occupation is Judaizing the Al-Buraq area through free Torah reading"
"The [Israeli Arab] Al-Aqsa Institute for Islamic Trusts and Heritage said in a press release yesterday… that the Israeli occupation has invented new means of Judaizing Islamic landmarks and religious trusts in Jerusalem and around the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Lately there have been more so-called 'Torah reading' activities at the Al-Buraq Wall (i.e., the Western Wall), provided free of charge to Jewish youth, and directly funded by Office of the Israeli Prime Minister. The Al-Aqsa Institute stated that the aim of these activities is to Judaize this most important landmark, that is directly connected to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and is an extension of it – i.e., the Al-Buraq Wall – and thereby ascribe an alleged Hebrew history to the Al-Buraq area. The Institute declared that the Al-Buraq Wall is inseparable from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, while the plaza in front of it is an Islamic trust, belonging to Al-Aqsa, and part of the religious trusts of the Mughrabi neighborhood, that was demolished by the occupation in 1967."
