Fatah official: Abbas has "a plan" to continue paying terrorists
Fatah Revolutionary Council Deputy Secretary Fayez Abu Aita: "What we heard from His Honor [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas, and according to what all those involved in the matter and present emphasized, is that there is a plan to maintain all our duties and commitments towards our sons, the sons of the Martyrs, towards our sons, the sons of the Palestinian prisoners (i.e., terrorists) and the Palestinian prisoners in the occupation's (i.e., Israel's) prisons… This group is the best of the Palestinian people. For many years we heard late Martyr [former PLO Chairman and PA President] Yasser Arafat say: The best of my people are in the prisons. And President Mahmoud Abbas said: If the PA had only one penny left, we would spend it on our prisoner sons and their families, because they have shouldered the burden of sacrifice and the Palestinian national enterprise."

While the PA tells the international community it is reforming and has stopped paying salaries to terrorists, the Palestinian people is being told a different message by Fatah official Fayez Abu Aita.
