Rajoub: Abbas supports “resistance in all its forms” until there’s a Palestinian state

Palestinian Authority officials are masters at using euphemisms or code words to hide their terror promotion from the international community.

Just recently, Fatah leader Jibril Rajoub, speaking at the opening of the first national youth conference, said that Mahmoud Abbas himself supports "resistance in all its forms" until there's a Palestinian state. And if a state is established, then Palestinians support "popular resistance without blood," presumably because they have even more demands. Fatah's euphemism for terror is "resistance in all its forms."

Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub: "National unity must be based on the adoption of UN resolutions by all of us, which grant us a state and also resistance in all its forms (i.e., including terror). I tell you as a Fatah member, resistance in all its forms is still on the agenda of this [Fatah] movement...Let no one think that we are surrendering. I tell you that the first among us who believes this is [PA President] Mahmoud Abbas, and I re-emphasize this in his name. We all know the nature and essence of Fatah. I hope the world will agree to the establishment of a Palestinian state according to the existing concepts and terms…. Either popular resistance without blood, in a case in which there will be a state, or else resistance in all its forms that will thwart what is liable to put an end to the idea of the state or bury our history, our heritage, or our goals and principles for which and on whose basis we launched this great revolution…

Rajoub's remarks are just the latest in an endless procession of terror promotion made across the PA leadership.

PLO Executive Committee member Azzam Al-Ahmad stated that he supports "armed struggle" to serve the Palestinian "political cause." Hamada Farana, who is a member of the Palestinian National Council, which is the PLO's legislative body, promoted "armed struggle" and "popular intifada" as means and tools.

Meanwhile, Fatah'  terror wing, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, recently recommitted itself to the principle of "resistance in all its forms (i.e., including terror), foremost among them the armed struggle."

The terms "resistance in all its forms" and "armed struggle" are ‎used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings as well as throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails.
