PLO Women’s Union and Nablus Municipality encourage boycott of Israeli products

PLO Women's Union Deputy Head Majda Al-Masri: "We discussed this – the presence [of Israeli products] in the markets. We condemn their return to the shelves… Those who boycotted continue to boycott, but the fact that [shop owners] are again allowed to display Israeli goods as if it is a natural thing, this made us set out against it. We hold the chambers of commerce responsible for monitoring the markets, in addition to what we have proposed in previous periods about the importance of imposing a high import tax on the Israeli products and reducing the import tax on Palestinian products."

Red stickers placed on Israeli products on a store shelf:

Text on sticker: "Made from Palestinian blood"

Majda Al-Masri: "I remember that the Nablus Municipality – on the last page of the water bill – placed a poster of the women's campaign and demanded to impose a boycott on Israeli products."
