Official PA daily regular columnist from Syria Hassan Hmeid: "The main problem since 1948 until now is that in their schools, when an [Israeli] boy or girl enters the kindergartens, they educate them to hate Arabs, to hate the land, to hate this and that. They put in the child's head – even as he grows up and dies and goes to the grave – that the Arab is the thief, the despicable one, the filthy one, the dirty one, the aggressor, and a savage, and they even depict him as the pig, a wild boar, meaning this Arab. If this continues in the [Israeli] schools until they reach university, and then when they receive [positions] in the army, and then when he is alone with his religious book and sees that his religious book incites him and tells them: "Kill him [the Arab], kill him as a child, kill him as a fetus before he grows up and rebels against you or becomes stubborn, kill him like this." It's a disaster… The future of the Israeli being put on trial is not the future you tell him, the International [Criminal] Court, and the like. You [Israeli] will be put on trial when you enter a restaurant, the restaurant owner will put you on trial, he will tell you that you have no place here, and when you want to enter a cinema, he will tell you that you are not allowed to enter the cinema, because you need to give me your ID card and your documentation so I will know you are Israeli. That's it, the stain becomes like a tattoo... You have a tattoo [saying] that you are a murderer, that you are the son of a murderer, and you also gave birth to murderers…Take [for example] Alexander the Great, who at the age of 20 destroyed the world. Take Genghis Khan, take Hitler, take Napoleon Bonaparte. What did they do? All of them in the end believed in power to the degree of absolute belief, but this absolute power – because it is not just and has no values and no humanity – all crashed."
