Official PA daily honors Munich attack planner and Black September Commander of Operations Ali Hassan Salameh as “heroic Martyr” in memorial notice

The following memorial notice appeared on the front page of the official PA daily:

“Memorial notice for the 20th anniversary of the death as a Martyr (Shahid) of Ali Hassan Salameh (i.e., a commander in the Black September terror organization), who is called ‘the Red Prince,’ the son of Martyr Hassan Salameh:
20th anniversary
'And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord’

Friday, Jan. 2, 1999, was the 20th anniversary of the death as a Martyr of the hero
Ali Hassan Salameh 'Abu Hassan'
Called 'the Red Prince'
Son of Martyr Hassan Salameh
Born in the town of Qula on April 1, 1942 (sic., 1940), and all of his life he was a fighter for his people and his homeland
Died as a Martyr in Beirut on Jan. 22, 1979
May Allah have mercy on the heroic Martyr
Glory and eternity to our righteous Martyrs"

Ali Hassan Salameh - Commander of operations of the Black September terror organization. He planned many terror attacks, including the attack on the Israeli team at the Munich Olympics in 1972, in which 11 Israeli athletes were murdered.

Hassan Salameh was one of the commanders of the “Holy Jihad” of Abd Al-Qader Al-Husseini, one of the Arab commanders in the 1948 war.
