Fatah “embraces” its terrorists, granting Conference membership to long-term terrorist prisoners
The Voice of Palestine host: "There is a determined intention to include the voices of the released and exiled prisoners (i.e., terrorists) in the Eighth [Fatah] Conference…"
Fatah Revolutionary Council member Tayseer Nasrallah: "Indeed, the prisoners – both those in prison and those who have been released – have always had a role in the [Fatah] conferences… There have always been several members of the [Fatah] Revolutionary Council from within the prisons, and also brother leader Marwan Barghouti (i.e., terrorist, responsible for murder of 5), who is a member of the [Fatah] Central Committee, was elected while in prison… The Revolutionary Council decided on this matter. Anyone who spent 20 years in the Israeli prisons will be a member of the conference. In this way, this conference will be held only with true and serious representation of the Palestinian prisoners… They will have representation and a role, as this [Fatah] Movement embraces its prisoners who play a fundamental part in its organizational choices."
