PA officials: US supports establishment of “Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates”

Palestinian National Council member Imran Al-Khatib: "Israel wants to control the Middle East... and not only the Middle East but also Africa. This is the Israeli aspiration, which receives American support from [US President] Trump, who declared that Israel's territory is small and must expand so that it will control the Middle East region. Also, the Washington ambassador in the occupied Palestinian territories (i.e., US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee) stated that Israel should take [parts] from Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Baghdad, and Syria…"

Palestinian National Council Committee for Foreign and Parliamentary Affairs member Fawzi Al-Samhouri: "There must be a real stand against the Israeli-American conspiracy, which… targets Arab national security. US Ambassador [to Israel Mike] Huckabee declared that Israel, this artificial entity, has a biblical right to establish Greater Israel from the Nile River to the Euphrates River. This call received consensus from the Israeli colonialist entity… This was also supported by the US, as President Trump said that the Arab homeland or Arab states are on the table, and ‘we must start expanding the territory of Israel,' this artificial entity. Where will this entity expand? First at the expense of the region's states. What has happened now in Syria and Lebanon is the biggest sign of this, and also the financial siege imposed on Jordan is part of this."
