PA official media proud it prioritizes terrorists

"Representatives of the prisoners' institutions and the [Palestinian] National and Islamic Forces (see note below -Ed.) held a meeting with Supervisor of the Official [PA] Media [with the rank of] minister Ahmad Assaf, in the presence of official PA TV Director Muhammad Barghouti...

Representatives of the prisoners' (i.e., terrorists') institutions and the national forces expressed their appreciation for the role played by the official [PA] media. They expressed their appreciation for the great interest it shows in national issues, foremost among them the issue of the prisoners...

Minister Assaf... emphasized that all resources and capabilities are being mobilized to cover the events of Palestinian Prisoners' Day in a manner befitting the prisoners' sacrifice and struggle, and that efforts are being made to make their voices and human stories heard around the world.

Minister Assaf noted that the prisoners' issue is not tied to a specific date but rather is always on the agenda of the official media, which gives it constant priority through news coverage, programs, and special reports, in a manner that reflects how deeply this issue is rooted in the Palestinian national consciousness."
