Tunisian Order of Lawyers President Boubaker Bethabet: "[This law] of the Zionist entity (i.e., Israel) is part of a continuous sequence of harm to the [Palestinian] cause, its heroes (i.e., terrorists), the Palestinian resistance, and the entire Palestinian people. It is a license to murder... within a fascist and Nazi entity whose central ideology is apartheid, annihilation, domination, distortion of facts and changing them. All this is being carried out as part of a strategic move that began in 1948… Of course, this is a whole process that began a long time ago, in which the Zionist entity does not recognize the terms of humanitarian law and international law that protect the civilians in the occupied territories, and also protect prisoners of armed conflicts being waged between armies, or between groups fighting against organized armies, in a struggle to achieve their freedom and realizing their right to self-determination… The passing of this law is a new expression in the vocabulary of crimes being committed against humanity."
