Every child "Martyr" becomes a "role model" and "1,000 follow in his footsteps" - Fatah official

Fatah Ramallah District Branch member Jaafar Hamayel: "The average age of the Martyrs does not exceed 20 years... This is a message to the occupation (i.e., Israel) – these children, these young people, they are the ones holding onto this land. When you kill a child, he becomes a role model and a symbol in the consciousness of his peers, friends, and age group, and therefore they want to emulate him…For every Martyr who ascends to Heaven, 1,000 follow in his footsteps."
