  • PA governor on terror mom: "In the presence of Al-Khansa, the mother of Martyrs, prisoners, and exiles, fighter Um Nasser Abu Hmeid, we stand in reverence before a magnificent life path that illustrated the meaning of endurance, resolve, and sacrifice, and has been and still is an honorable example for the mothers of Palestine who sacrificed their sons for the freedom and dignity of our people"

The Palestinian Authority has made the mother of 6 terrorist sons who murdered 10 people a role model for society. For years, the PA has put Um Nasser Abu Hmeid on a pedestal as the embodiment of "resolve and sacrifice for Palestine." When the last son followed his murderer brothers, who had already murdered 9 people, and killed an Israeli soldier in 2018, PA officials honored Um Hmeid as "a crown on all our heads."

Making sure Palestinian children don't miss the "value" of raising children to be murderers, Um Nasser Abu Hmeid was invited to a recent event at the Al-Khansa High School for Girls. Al-Khansa was a famous mother in the earliest period of Islam who expressed joy when all her sons became "Martyrs" and is also the nickname the PA has given to terror mom Abu Hmeid (see note below):

The Jerusalem Suburbs Directorate of Education, which is a branch of the PA Ministry of Education, noted that "the event was attended by a representative of the [PA] Jerusalem District and representatives from the [PA] security system, civil society institutions, and the Al-Judeira and Rafat Municipalities, alongside fighter Um Nasser Abu Hmeid and several educational and community figures" [Jerusalem Suburbs Directorate of Education, Facebook page, May 17, 2026].

As Palestinian Media Watch has exposed for years, the PA's Ramallah District Governor Laila Ghannam is an avid fan of terrorists in general and of terror mom Abu Hmeid in particular, who Ghannam has honored as "a symbol for Palestinian women."

Ghannam always makes a point of stressing the high social status of "fighter" Abu Hmeid and recently posted the following praise for her, emphasizing her "magnificent life path" as a mom of terrorist murderers:

Posted text: "In the presence of Al-Khansa, the mother of Martyrs, prisoners, and exiles, fighter Um Nasser Abu Hmeid (i.e., mother of terrorists responsible for at least 10 murders; see note below), we stand in reverence before a magnificent life paththat illustrated the meaning of endurance, resolve, and sacrifice, and has been and still is an honorable example for the mothers of Palestine who sacrificed their sons for the freedom and dignity of our people.

Um Nasser represents the story of a homeland, whose chapters were written with endurance, resolve, and sacrifice for Palestine. She is the mother of Martyr prisoner commander Nasser [Abu Hmeid] (i.e., terrorist, responsible for murder of 7), whose body is still being held [by Israel], Martyr [Abd Al-Mun'im] Yusuf [Abu Hmeid] (i.e., terrorist, responsible for murder of 1), prisoner Islam [Yusuf Abu Hmeid] (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1), who is serving a life sentence behind the bars of the occupation (i.e., Israel), and fighters Nasr (i.e., terrorist, involved in murder of 4), Sharif (i.e., terrorist, involved in murder of 4), and Muhammad [Abu Hmeid] (i.e., terrorist, convicted of attempted murder), who were forcibly exiled by the occupation to Egypt after they breathed freedom.

During the visit, I spoke with her exiled sons andemphasized my pride in their resolve and sacrifice. I also emphasized that the issue of the exiled will remain present in our conscience and at the top of our national priorities until they return to their homeland and the embrace of their mother and family.

I salute Um Nasser and all the patient mothers and families who are still waiting for the return of their sons from prison or exile, as they are a symbol of resolve, and their sacrifice will remain present in the conscience of our people and its leadership."
