Amin Abed, political activist from Gaza: "Hamas tried to kill me because I said that October 7 (i.e., Hamas' massacre and war against Israel) does not represent the struggle of the Palestinian people and does not represent us... Hamas has placed armed men in every relief center who threaten people and instill fear in them… The young people were summoned [for interrogation] in hospitals. Since this morning, they have been calling people… and they threaten to kill them. They call people and summon them at Al-Shifa Hospital, Nasser Hospital, Al-Aqsa Hospital, and Al-Ma'amdani Hospital. When we say this, they tell us that we are giving the occupation (i.e., Israel) excuses to bomb the hospitals. So why have you turned the hospitals into centers of interrogation and torture where you kill our people and torture our people who survived your adventure, your recklessness (i.e., Oct. 7 war), and your terror against them? ... Hamas killed dozens of young people in the Gaza Strip during the destruction because they spoke out against the Hamas movement."
