“No peace in the region” until Israel is destroyed – former PA minister
The former PA minister openly defines peace as Israel's elimination, demanding its "liberation" and replacement through the mass return of Palestinian refugees.
Former PA Minister of Women's Affairs Amal Hamad: "There will be no peace in the region, no stability and peace, unless we truly get rid of the occupation (i.e., Israel) and establish an independent Palestinian state. The roots return to the need for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and the liberation of this land as part of getting rid of the occupation…The refugees are the true owners of the land, and they are the ones who should remain on their land… UNRWA was established as a result of the Nakba until the refugee issue is resolved, until the return."
