Abbas’ advisor: Any Israeli change to legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque “is a declaration of war against two billion Muslims”
Al-Habbash is threatening a global religious war over any change at the Temple Mount while denying all non-Muslims—including Jews—the right to pray at their holiest site.
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "Any attempt to change the legal status or approve any type of Israeli management of the affairs of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is considered by us as a declaration of war. This is war, and we will not allow, agree, or remain silent facing any such Israeli attempt. I am not speaking only as Palestinians. No Muslim anywhere in the world, in the East or the West, will agree to any type of takeover or change of the status of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in favor of the Israeli occupation or in and an exclusive right for Muslims, and prayer in it is an exclusive right for Muslims, and they must not share it with anyone else. Any attempt to change this means nothing but a declaration of war, and this declaration of war will not only concern Palestinians but will be against the core belief of two billion Muslims all over the world."
