Terrorists are “a badge of honor,” deserve their salaries and should be part of decision-making - top Fatah official
Fatah Central Committee member andFatah Mobilization and Organization Commission Director Tawfiq Tirawi: "There is a problem with the salaries of the prisoners and Martyrs (i.e., terrorists), but we will not allow any mother to knock on any door to ask for help because the prisoners, or the Martyrs, were not imprisoned for their family or village, but for Palestine…They should be a badge of honor on all our heads and on the heads of the Arab and Islamic nation... We call on all Fatah members who have been removed or excluded or humiliated over all these long years to return and take on their roles in Fatah institutions, so that they will be partners in the decision-making. They, the heroes of the first and second Intifadas (i.e., Palestinian wave of violence and terror against Israel, approximately 200 Israelis murdered, 1987-1993, and PA terror campaign 2000-2005), and the self-sacrificing fighters (i.e., terrorists) who founded the [Fatah] Movement, among whom are Martyrs, prisoners, and wounded, did much in their time."
