“Israel “raided hospital and arrested an injured person” - PA describes capture of murderer of father of six

A Palestinian terrorist murdered a father of six who had gone with his son to immerse himself in a natural spring before Judaism's holiest day, but for the Palestinian Authority, Israel's arrest of the injured murderer in a Ramallah hospital was the real crime.

On Sunday, Netanel Shukrun (a father of six from Alei Zahav), was shot and mortally wounded while sitting in his car near a natural spring outside Neve Tzuf. Netanel warned and shouted to his 16-year-old son Yoav to flee from the terrorists, saving his life.

The terrorist was shot and wounded by soldiers who happened to be in the area, and fled to a Ramallah hospital, where he was tracked down and arrested by Israeli soldiers.

In the official PA daily newspaper, however, the attack itself was buried at the bottom of a six-item news brief, while Israel's arrest of the murder suspect was portrayed as the real crime.

"Occupation (i.e., Israeli) forces stormed the specialized HClinic hospital in the Al-Masayef neighborhood in the city of Ramallah and arrested an injured person.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided the hospital with military reinforcements, arrested an injured person, and fired toxic tear gas grenades in its vicinity. As a result, several civilians were affected by gas inhalation.

The occupation forces had earlier announced that a settler died after being critically injured in a shooting operation near the settlement of Halamish (Neve Tzuf) [parentheses in original] northwest of Ramallah. They said that the injured person arrested was the perpetrator of the operation."

This isn't the first time Israel has had to conduct an operation to arrest a terror suspect who had taken refuge in a PA hospital, as Palestinian Media Watch has reported.

These operations are absolutely  necessary because the PA as policy harbors terrorists rather than turn them over to Israeli authorities.
