Abbas’ advisor: “Israel knew about and wanted Oct. 7 to save itself from internal explosion”

Abbas' senior advisor is promoting a baseless conspiracy theory that Israel deliberately wanted the Oct. 7 massacre to happen.

Jusoor News host: "[Israeli PM's wife] Sara Netanyahu said yesterday that the head of the [Israeli] army and the army commanders knew about Hamas' [Oct. 7] plan..."

PA Chairman Abbas' Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "They [Israel] wanted it, not only knew about it. They had a desire for what happened to happen…. Before October 7, for nine months, Israel was boiling from within, and there were fierce disagreements between the government and the opposition over what is called judicial reforms… Every day there were demonstrations in Israel... Israel was on the verge of internal explosion. October 7 came and saved Israel from itself and saved Israel from its internal divisions."
