Official PA TV portrays Israel as inherently dependent on war and murder and destined to disappear.

Senior Syrian journalist Mustafa Al-Miqdad: "This issue is related to the essence of the Zionist ideology... simply put, the Zionist entity cannot continue to live without war, confrontation, and murder on the internal level and even regarding neighboring countries."

Official PA TV host: "I understand from your words that the survival of this occupation (i.e., Israel) is linked to the ongoing state of war in the region. Without wars, it can't survive?"

Al-Miqdad: "Without a doubt... We believe that Israel will cease to exist, not by [throwing] it into the sea, but as a political entity as it exists today, it will cease to exist… Even the founding fathers of the Hebrew state, or the children who grew up in it, remember and know that it is a state that came into being through a UN decision, of the Security Council in 1947, and then was confirmed in '48 on the day of its declaration. Meaning, a decision on paper is what created this state... meaning, it isn't rooted in anything..."

Official PA TV host: "The foundation is shaky."

Al-Miqdad: "Exactly, this is one of the main factors that always lead the Zionists to use force in its most abominable and worst forms."
