The Palestinian Authority's events commemorating the 109th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration further expose the Palestinians' true objective—the destruction of Israel. From the PLO leadership to PA classrooms, the message is consistent—Jewish national rights are illegitimate, all the land is "Palestine," and another generation must continue the struggle to claim it.

PLO Executive Committee member and Department of Refugee Affairs head Ahmad Abu Houli condemned the Balfour Declaration's promise of a Jewish national home as a "historic colonial crime." He insisted that British recognition of Palestinian statehood cannot replace the so-called "right of return" and called the Balfour Declaration, which was issued well before the founding of the State of Israel—the beginning of the "occupation."

"PLO Executive Committee member and head of the PLO Department of Refugee Affairs Ahmad Abu Houli… demanded that the British government assume its historical responsibility, support the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent and sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital, and guarantee the refugees' right to return and receive compensation, based on UN Resolution 194. He stressed that recognition of the State of Palestine does not absolve Britain of its responsibility regarding the refugee issue and does not constitute an alternative to the right of return...

Abu Houli concluded his remarks by saying that the fact that 109 years have passed since the Balfour Declaration does not negate the Palestinian national rights, foremost among them the right of return and the right to self-determination and independence. He also said that the Palestinian people will continue to adhere to their land, identity, and rights, despite the Nakba, occupation, siege, and aggression.

When the PA speaks of "return," it is referring to the invasion of Israel with six million descendants of Arabs who left Israel during Israel's war of Independence, who have since been trapped in UNRWA camps.

On the day of the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, numerous PA schools held events with children holding signs declaring that "Palestine is Arab from its river to its sea," alongside maps replacing all Israel with Palestinian flag colors and one labeled the "State of Palestine." A child in Gaza held a sign declaring: "What was taken by force will only be returned by force."

The PA Education Ministry's Facebook page also displayed students from Gaza with return keys and signs anticipating the Balfour Declaration's cancelation.

Official PA TV covered a school event organized with Fatah in Burqin, where students carried pictures of former Arab villages inside Israel, and the school's principal explicitly identified transmitting these national values as the educators' role.

Nablus Governor Ghassan Daghlas reinforced that mission, urging that these claims be instilled in future generations at an event displaying maps that erased Israel.

This is education for Israel's elimination. The PA teaches children that there is no room for a State of Israel and that it is quite literally meant to disappear from the map.
