PA TV host: Israel targeted children during 2012 Gaza operation
PA TV show Good Morning Jerusalem discusses psychological problems after the November 2012 war in Gaza with psychologist Yu’ad Ghanadri:
Psychologist Ghanadri: “We are a nation that loves life, and we say our children’s potential is to live.”
PA TV host: “Even though children are always being targeted during this aggression (i.e., Israel’s Operation Pillar of Defense, November 2012 which sought out terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip)?”
Psychologist Ghanadri: “Children are targeted, and we sometimes call them ‘potential Martyrs’ (Shahids) or ‘potential dead,’ and I really don’t like those terms. Our children’s potential is to live, and they can deal with stress better than adults can.”
