A daily op-ed: Obama is the "great Satan" in Washington
From an article by Fuad Abu Hajla following the attack on the Al-Yarmouk refugee camp during the Syrian civil war (2012). The writer claims that tragic death pursues Palestinian refugees in Arab lands, and everywhere, and goes on to say:
“[US President] Barack Hussein Obama may not care about the death of Palestinians in Al-Yarmouk [refugee camp], and he probably will go on worrying about the psychological wellbeing of the residents of [Israeli] settlements near Gaza, but we don’t expect anything more from him, since for all the ‘little Satans’ in Arab lands, there is one ‘great Satan’ – and he usually lives in Washington.”
